2020 Census Reminder

September 30th, 2020 is the deadline to compete the 2020 Census. 10% of Minnesotans still have not completed the Census, and we need your help in making sure that everyone gets couinted! Please make sure that everyone has completed their census by visiting or by calling 844-330-2020 to complete the census over the phone.

Absentee Voting By Mail

Abesentee voting will begn on September 18th, 2020. You can request an absentee ballot through the Secretary of State’s Office Here.

Because of uncertainty with the United States Postal Service, we are encouraging people to request their absentee ballot as early as possible, and mailing their completed ballot as quickly as possible. Your ballot must be postmarked by Election Day (November 3rd, 2020), and received by county within 7 days after the Election (November 10th). In order to ensure that you ballot is received in time, we are encouraging people to mail their ballot 10 days before the Election (Saturday, October 24th).

In Person Absentee Voting

You can vote in person at Minneapolis Elections and Voter Services Office located 980 E. Hennepin Ave, Minneapolis, MN 55414. Early in person voting will begin on September 18th, and go through November 2nd. You can visit their website for the latest hours and information here.

Voting on Election Day

You can register for the 2020 General Election being held on Tuesday, November 3rd, online here.

You can find your polling location here. Please note, that because of COVID-19 many of our regular polling locations have moved. Please research your polling location for 2020 before Election Day.

Central Committee Meeting Announcement

On Tuesday, September 22nd at 7:00 PM, the Senate District 60 DFL Central Committee will meet via Zoom.
The Central Committee includes:
1) All SD 60 DFL Officers
2) All SD 60 DFL Directors
3) All precinct chairs (elected at the 2020 precinct caucuses)
4) A few other DFL officials
